The entrepreneurial journey of Sibin, a native of Thrissur, began in a Plus Two (Grade 11/12) classroom. He was around seventeen or eighteen years old at the time. One day, during a casual conversation, one of his friends asked: “Sibin, could you draw a design for a project?”
To others, it might have seemed like an ordinary question. But for Sibin, it sparked an idea—an opportunity. He had long been thinking about how to beautify homes and their surroundings. Leveraging this interest and his deep passion for it, Sibin thoroughly enjoyed working on that first project and completed it exquisitely.
The quality of his first work garnered attention. Consequently, more projects began to come his way. As demand increased, he decided to turn his passion into a business venture. At the age of nineteen, Sibin gave his dream a name – GREENREALM. This marked the beginning of his aspirations taking flight.
While simultaneously pursuing his architecture studies, Sibin poured all his energy into bringing his clients’ green visions to life, working tirelessly day and night.
However, entrepreneurial journeys are rarely smooth sailing. At the age of twenty, GREENREALM faced a significant crisis: a debt of four lakh rupees! His youth, inexperience, and market challenges contributed to things going awry. Obstacles mounted, and there were moments when it felt like life was regressing rather than progressing.
But Sibin wasn’t ready to surrender. When others thought it was all over, he declared, perhaps to himself and the world, “This isn’t the end; this is where I start anew!” His words resonated with the unwavering determination of a young entrepreneur unwilling to accept defeat.
With renewed vigor, Sibin re-entered the fray. He learned from his setbacks, paid meticulous attention to each project, and prioritized client satisfaction above all else. He made no compromises on the quality of his work. Seizing every small opportunity, he began to carefully nurture his venture back onto its feet.
This hard work and dedication eventually bore fruit. Today, GREENREALM stands proudly as one of Kerala’s leading landscaping companies. Having successfully completed over a hundred projects both within Kerala and beyond, Sibin’s dream venture continues its triumphant journey.
The story of Sibin and GREENREALM reminds us of one crucial lesson: setbacks in entrepreneurship are normal, and often, they are stepping stones to greater achievements. With a clear vision and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit that perseveres through crises, even a dream ignited by a casual question in a Plus Two classroom can blossom into a significant brand.
